It
happens to many of us, when you know you have to take the challenge.
Our leap of faith happened when we opened a restaurant in Suffolk
to indulge our passion for food, wine and cooking. After
several years we wanted a new challenge. We wanted to open a food
shop where our own cooked food (the chefs work in the kitchen behind
the shop) would be sold alongside products of good provenance from
small producers. Many years ago when White Hart Lane was full of
small shops - chippie, fishmongers, greengrocers, bakery, corner
shops/dairies, not to mention the bookshop, the haberdashery and the
hardware shop - these premises were occupied by a wholesale/retail
butcher, so it's rather fitting that we should open our traiteur in
the same premises.
We
hope you can take pleasure from the foods you discover as you wander
around the shop.
